The 2025 Ram HD lineup features updated styling across all trim levels. The Tradesman model introduces a bold blacked-out grille design complemented by standard LED headlights. Chrome accents and body-colored door handles are added to the Big Horn, while the Laramie includes power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals and puddle lamps. The Rebel stands out with its aggressive blacked-out appearance and off-road-specific design elements. Unique black wheel flares and a distinctive front-end design set the Power Wagon apart. The Limited Longhorn elevates the exterior with premium chrome accents and a Corning Gorilla Glass windshield. Additional chrome elements and sophisticated LED lighting signatures distinguish the range-topping Limited model.

The 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo-Diesel engine has undergone substantial upgrades for 2025, now producing a whopping 430 horsepower — an increase of 30 horsepower from the previous generation. This powerplant delivers 1,075 pound-feet of torque, making it the first engine in its segment to break the 1,000 pound-feet barrier. The 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 gas engine generates 405 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The new TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with the diesel engine across all models, providing smoother gear transitions and improved efficiency.

Ram's diesel engine achieves a maximum towing capacity of 36,610 pounds, while the gas engine variant offers a maximum payload rating of 7,590 pounds. Acceleration improves significantly with a 0-to-60 mph time of 6.9 seconds, down from 8 seconds in the previous model. A more efficient 3.42 rear axle ratio helps optimize performance and fuel economy. You can choose between rear-wheel- or four-wheel-drive configurations, depending on your needs.

The new Ram HD features a Uconnect 5 system with a 14.5-inch main touchscreen in the Limited and Limited Longhorn models, plus an industry-first 10.25-inch passenger screen. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster displays vehicle information clearly. Practical features include dual wireless phone charging, an onboard power inverter delivering up to 2.4 kilowatts, and two 110-volt outlets in the bed. All models receive acoustic glass and active noise cancellation for a quieter cabin. The Limited Longhorn and Limited trims incorporate premium leather surfaces and authentic wood trim. Every model includes multiple USB ports and three 115-volt outlets with 400-watt capacity.

Every 2025 Ram HD comes standard with forward collision warning with active braking, adaptive cruise control with stop capability, LaneSense lane departure warning, and ParkSense front and rear park assist with automatic braking. Available safety technologies include drowsy driver detection, traffic sign recognition, active lane management, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system. An auxiliary exterior camera provides additional visibility when needed. The five-link solid rear axle improves stability, while the optional Active-Level air suspension delivers enhanced ride comfort and load-leveling capabilities.
