6 Signs of a Faulty Ignition Coil

A sudden drop in engine power might point to a faulty ignition coil. Idling at traffic lights puts the engine under more strain than when the vehicle is in motion. For this reason, misfiring often becomes first apparent when idling. Rather than purring softly, your car will shake, become noisy, and might even stall.
